I am so baffled at the level of incompetency demonstrated by these people I can barely type. Nicole Cooke (our broker/coordinator) was an absolute disgrace to customer service. They are called South Beach Transport. She lives in Arizona. I didn't major in geography, but I'm pretty sure that's not anywhere near South Beach. Our vehicle was scheduled for pick up two weeks ahead of time to be picked up on Friday. Come Friday afternoon we still hadn't heard from anyone, so we decided to call and see what was going on. She very casually and nonchalantly stated "Oh, yeah, looks like we're not gonna make it there today, and I don't have any idea when we will be picking up the vehicle"............what?!?

I am a reasonable person. I understand that unforeseen things happen. But why did I have to call to get this info? Seems to me that any business with even the most basic customer service skills would find it prudent to pick up the phone and communicate with their customers. She said she was working the problem and that I would hear from her by the end of the day.

She never called. Never e-mailed. Nothing. Zero communication what. so. ever.

And then, when I finally did get her on the phone, she starts telling me about how she had "Things outside of here that I had to take care of". Again, I understand, life happens. But is this really the kind of information you want to pass along to a customer? Unprofessional hack buffoonery. And the attitude....like I was somehow inconveniencing her. I can't really comprehend how this person is allowed to handle customers. Come Saturday, after pleading with her for SOME KIND OF INFO regarding when the vehicle would be picked up, and still getting no response, I was forced to call and use another company. When I called Nicole to let her know that I needed to cancel our order this is how the conversation went...

Me: "Hello Nicole, this is Dan, I need to go ahead and cancel our order with you"

Her: "I already did" *click*


And that was that. Our absolutely awful experience with South Beach Transport. Run. Run away.
