I am starting to question the service provided???

I picked this company because of the good reviews I see on their website. Seems like a very good service provided by my agent Jacob from returning calls, quick turnaround in email response and updating me on the status of transporting my car from Illinois to Virginia. I received the car in the time that was promised which was Thursday. Then on Saturday, when I checked my bank account, I was charged 5 $20.00 total of $100 by Illiinois State Toll Highway Authority due to my car passed through the various tollways enroute. Though the driver who picked up my car in IL hid the transponder inside the compartment of my car it still post charges. Since it did not have enough funds on my IPASS account, my card was debited the amount to cover the charges. I have contacted OCHIS Transported that was contracted by Smart Transport to pick up my car in IL and they are bouncing back the blame to Smart Transport. They are in the business of transporting cars and they should have know to WRAP THE TRANSPONDER IN ALUMINUM FOIL so as not to be charged. Now they are blaming me for not doing this when I hired them to transport my car??? The car was not under my possession when this happened so it is their responsibility to know how this is handled. I would recommend the next time you consider a transport company you have to make sure they know how things are handled in instances like this. Now after they have gotten their money, it is so hard for them to find a solution to this problem. I work in the customer service too and GREAT SERVICE is making sure that your client is happy and you dont leave any issue unresolved.

We are sorry this happened but this was the responsibility of the customer to take out that pass from the car or wrap it in foil , at no time did she mentioned to us that she was going to leave that in the car ( we are good , but we dont read minds ) We followed through with what was promised , with us being in a office in Miami and this happening in IL , its kinda hard to wrap it in foil from here , but its always easier to blame other people, LIKE WE SAID WE ARE SORRY THIS HAPPEN BUT CUSTOMER NEVER TOLD US ANYTHING , WE DID WHAT AGREED TO DO
