Dear Consumers, Yes we do advise customers to read the terms and conditions/shipping agreement thoroghly not just skim over them as this is what Sturm did, prior to placing his order. Let me explain what a wonderful customer we were dealing with here. Mr. Sturm placed an order from CO-WA with his first available date being 5/10/05. He was given and ESTIMATED time frame of 1-7 days from his first available date, NOT 1-3 days. Our office NEVER received any phone calls from Mr. Sturm checking status or even asking to cancel his order. On 5/14/05 he was informed that his bike was assigned for pickup within 24 hours and that Maxwell Trucking will be contacting him to setup a time frame, to our suprise the bike was already picked up by Mr. Sturm himself without notifing our office. I guess he felt we had a crystal ball to know this information. At that time we had to call off the carrier who lost out on this bike that he had scheduled into his load. Mt Sturm then DEMANDED that we refund him his deposit as we "did not perform any service" WHAT we had it assigned to be picked up 4 days from his first available date. Seems as though this customer just jumped the gun and picked up the bike himself, without notifying our office.
