Communication is not their strong point. Until the day before our RV was picked up we didn't get a definitive answer on the date. Even then we were told different things as to the time. The dispatcher for the driver told us one thing and time, the driver a completely different story resulting in 3 hours delay. The phone number we were calling to get updates couldn't be accessed because the voice mailbox was full. This was our home with nearly everything that we own. It would have been great if the driver had treated it with that in mind. It was a straight shot on I-40 from Hickory, NC until Flagstaff, AZ. He chose to go up through southern Illinois and into Missouri so that he could go home. This resulted in miles added to our tires as well as time. He gave a ridiculous reason as to why he chose to go this way. The company tried to debit the other half of the fee but weren't able to. We weren't told that this was going to happen as soon as the RV was picked up. Another company we used took the payment at the end. Another example of no communication. When the RV was delivered the driver didn't unhook the RV until he had the cash in his hand. As you can see from the photos there was an issue. Clearly the driver took a turn way too fast resulting in a very heavy dresser falling over. It was wedged in but everything shifted and the drawers came out. What a mess! When we were hooking everything up we saw that the bathroom roof vent was open. It was closed when we left. I also stepped on a earring and had the prong go into my foot. I own now jewelry. So how did the roof vent get opened and where did the earring come from? Clearly someone gained access to my locked RV between the time it was picked up on Wednesday and delivered on Saturday. The man I spoke to on the phone was belligerent when I told him this. He said he was going to send a bunch of guys out because someone was lying. Threats from a business are always the way to go, don't you agree. When I said I was going to go the social media route to express my displeasure I was threatened with a lawsuit. The figure of a million dollars was mentioned. If I had that kind of money I wouldn't be living in an RV without a truck to haul it. When the guy called back he said that the driver didn't have a key and they don't go in the RVs. He said that he would have to report the situation to the FBI. Seriously! He did. Like they care. Nothing is going to be done about this. It's going to be my word against the driver. And you all know who he is going to believe. I have 2 theories. Bear in mind that these are just the product of my imagination and I am not stating in any way, shape or form that this is what happened. Names have been withheld. Don't want a million dollar lawsuit coming my way. 1- the driver brought his girlfriend into the RV for a little romance when he went home. Spice things up with a new location and all that. The roof vent was opened for some air. When he gave her the ugly earrings in the photo she was so disappointed that she flipped the dresser over. 2- a female trying to make a living by soliciting at truck stops picked the lock to gain access to the RV. When she and her john left she inadvertently left her earrings behind. Whatever happened while my RV was out of my control will likely not be found out. Beware of this company and the less than charming guy who answered the phone on May 1st.
