Started great - disappointed in the end

Shipped a car from NC to CA - the quote was $150 higher than a competitor. But after speaking with the rep (wade) I thought it would be wise to go with them (he was very cheerful and seemed knowledgeable). Closer to pick-up of the car, Wade called me asking me to pay another $50 because the original carrier could no longer do the date I needed. He told me this would be their top-ranked carrier and it was a good move. Trusting him, I agreed (now we are $200 higher than the competitor). Between Thursday and Saturday, the 'top-ranked' company dropped my case and a different one was added. Pick-up was scheduled for Monday - I booked a rental car and made arrangements - I was in a different city over the weekend. On sunday at 8 am, a driver called me and told me he would pick-up the car in about 6 hrs. I was stunned - I called their 24 hr number and the person who answered had *NO IDEA* about whether this was the case. He was completely unhelpful. I called the driver and he was clear, he told me it was pick-up *that day* or cancel. I decided to just drive back to meet the driver. I was originally told it would take 8-10 days - Well, it took 12 days for delivery. There were also issues with delivery, the driver got annoyed that I was taking pictures of the car (which I wanted to do to ensure nothing had been damaged). I spoke with Wade and asked him about the issues + the $30 rebate they advertise when you do a quote. He said he would escalate the issue. I did not receive a response from the other person. I emailed Wade twice again, no response. I got a random email from a different person in Ship a Car asking about my experience, two emails later, no response. I would not recommend them.
