Using a moving service for the first time is intimidating. Later you realize how easy the system actually is. This company and I suspect many others collect move orders from people like you and me. These orders go into a database which is accessed by individual movers - moving truck owners operators. They pick what move order works for them for their route and place bids or simply accept the estimate set by the broker (such as Ship a Car Direct). The job of the broker is to monitor everything, work with the truckers, collect feedback from customers to make sure our experience is good and cost under control. The broker also helps to resolve problems, if any. In my case the process worked very well. The broker communication has been superb, they guided me at every step of the way - with helpful tips and reminders. I would highly recommend this company. greg
