Satisfactory experience, a bit of a delay

The overall experience was fine. I got my car shipped without issues and at a reasonable price, so I am basically satisfied. However, there are a few things that may have improved the overall experience.

In the explanatory videos it is mentioned that there is usually no problem finding a carrier within one or two days notice, sometimes even the same day it is requested, so there is no need to plan far in advance. I placed the order on a Thursday for a pick up on Friday or Saturday as the earliest possible dates. However, the trucking company was not assigned until Monday, and only after increasing the initial price estimate by $100, which involved a 17.4% increase in the amount paid to the carrier (excluding Ship a Car Direct flat rate fee). The car ended up being picked up on Thursday, so almost a week later than requested. Not a big deal in my case, but I wonder if that may be a common practice, providing a lower estimate than what would be realistic for a carrier to accept and just increase the price later on when you are a bit tired of waiting and you just want a carrier to get the job done. Potential customers may want to check whether this issue is commonly cited in the reviews and be aware of it if so.
