Ship a car direct was fantastic, they kept us completely informed and were able to answer all of our questions. we loved their cellphone app which help to document before and after shipment of car, including pictures in case a claim needed to be made. The only downside is their promise of door to door service and the actual car carrier who we ended up with. The man was rude, and we had to meet the car carrier a distance away for pickup, which we wouldn't have minded until we saw his car carrier and he could have absolutely driven through our neighborhood or even the grocery store parking lot down the street without any problem. We also then had to convince him to drive the car to our house after he tried to repeatedly make us drive to meet him far away at a truck stop which we couldn't get to anyways because we had no car and no way to get there. There were also several grocery store and commercial parking lots within walking distance to our house that he could have driven through and unloaded with car and gotten back onto the road without any problem, but we were denied all of these options.
