My car shipped fine. My only complaint is when I asked ship a car direct rep if the company would actually pick up my car considering I live in the city, she said of course definitely. I said are you sure because that usually isn't the case, and she said yes. Clearly she had no idea considering that the company said definitely not. Also it was the worst customer service. The day before my car was picked up, I hadn't received a call from the company that was picking it up even. The least ship a car direct could do was contact them and then let me know when my car would be picked up and from where. But I just kept getting automated emails. I had to call the car shipping company and they were like hmmmm let me get back to you. It was ridiculous. First they said AM pick up then PM pick up. Other than that, my car shipped quickly and was in good condition on arrival and definitely earlier than I thought it would be.

We are sorry to hear how pick up went. Most carriers will try to go to your location unless there are restrictions. In cities like Philadelphia you are right, most carriers can not bring their full trucks in, but sometimes they can arrange a smaller flatbed truck, or meet just outside the city. Your rep was still new and in the training process so we apologize that her lack of familiarity with every city caused this inconvenience for you.
