I chose ship a car direct because I had a good experience 2 years ago. This time around I was very frustrated, my pickup window was missed by 6 days which made making arrangements for someone else to be there when the car to be picked up very stressful as my wife and I had to leave on a certain date as we were moving across the country. Leading up to my pickup window I reached out for a week every day to ensure that I carrier would be assigned and I was assured this would be the case. There were numerous times when I was told I would be called back and I wasn't, along with not being upfront with me that my pickup window would not be met left us scrambling up until our last day. I will not recommend ship-a-car direct or use this service moving forward.
