Was disappointed (but not surprised) that the final cost was 20% more than quoted mainly because I needed the car picked up within a three day window. The initial quote was not high enough to get it picked up by drivers. I realize this is how the process is designed but I would hope that the broker rep would know this in advance and give me a more realistic quote. Once you have a customer like me over a barrel and bound by time constraints, there was no choice but to accept the increase in the rate. I would have agreed to the higher number from the beginning, I just didn't like the process. It seemed a little underhanded and certainly required more angst and logistics maneuvering because the car was picked up after my wife and daughter had left the campus and we had to arrange for someone to be inconvenienced on graduation weekend in order to transfer the vehicle to the transporter.
