Satisfied with the shipment but the service can be improved

Overall I satisfied with the service: Pickup and delivery on time, driver is friendly and helpful, contact person (David in my case) is very responsive. Anytime I send a message to David, he will reply very quickly. I received my car without any damage or scratches.
Only thing I complain about is the final cost and initial quote.
At first David quoted for $975 and told me to wait for a week (because I contacted him 1 week before car available for pickup date). Then he called me on day before available for pickup date telling me that it is always difficult for shipping from Iowa so driver asking for $100 more and I needed to drive my car to Des Moines, which is 40 miles away. Then he called again hour later to ask for $150 more in total for my car to be picked at Ames next day. I asked him about the initial quote and he said because it is always difficult to find a truck for route from Iowa and if I don't want to pay more, I have to wait.
Then what is the point of contacting 1 week in advance??? They tell you that you need to contact them at least 1 week earlier so they can arrange an truck for you!
I would be in Seattle and start working there in the following week. So certainly I don't want to have delay in shipping my car and I accepted to pay more. Did I have options at that time? Absolutely no!
My point here is that I did not ask him for the lowest quote at the beginning! He should consider all factors, like he said it is difficult from shipping from Iowa, to give a "real/reasonable" quote. Nobody forced him to give me a as low as possible quote!
When I choose a company to ship my car, the first thing I care is the rating of that company then the quote but not the opposite way. Never the opposite way because everybody cares about their car. Nobody wants to have damages, scratches or lost to their car during shipping.
Because of this issue, I rate the Honesty and Knowledgeable 3-4 stars.
