I shipped my car through Ship a Car Direct from Upstate New York to Northern California. I was amazed at how painless the whole process was. I had shipped my car from CA to NY two years prior through a different shipping company and experienced multiple snags along the way. I was therefore prepared for a not-so-pleasant experience again, even though Ship a Car Direct had stellar reviews (back then, the first company did, too).

Fortunately, my Ship a Car Direct experience was pretty much flawless. Angela, my rep, was very professional, an excellent communicator, and clearly knew what she was doing. The 3-day window for pickup was honored and I was super impressed with the carrier, Arp Transportation Inc. Their drivers Tom and Pedro were extremely competent, respectful, and pleasant. I had total confidence leaving my car in their care. I was amazed when they told me they'd deliver it to the other side of the country in just 3 days, and that's exactly what they did!

The only thing I could suggest to Ship a Car Direct for improvement is to at least have their carriers rinse off a car before they deliver it. Mine was dirty enough that I couldn't see out of side mirrors while driving it away. A customer's last impression of a service is sometimes the one they remember most, so it would make sense for carriers to find a way to wash off a car before the customer comes to claim it.

Overall, my experience with Ship a Car Direct and Arp Transportation was outstanding. There is no question in my mind that I would contract them again should I need to ship my car in the future, and I would recommend them without hesitation to my family, friends, and anyone else looking for a top-notch car shipping experience.
