I understand trucking from a previous career in wholesale fruits & vegetables. But I never thought I would be seeking a car transport without plenty of time to coordinate things. Until recently, my sister in-law had passed away necessitating my wife and I to travel to Georgia to put her things in order. With only one week to do this I left the car to last. We thought it would be easy to just sell the car (Corvette) right there in Georgia. We live in Massachusetts and went to sell it on Thursday while our plans called for us to leave on Saturday. Mid afternoon we learned that despite court documents and title we could do nothing without a death certificate, which we hadn't received yet. By now we are at a restaurant having dinner realizing that a car is the only thing that is going to require us to return. I thought and decided to google transports never thinking it could really materialize in time. I read reviews and quickly settled on Ship a Car. Still at dinner I shot off the application email. Before I put my phone down it was ringing. Soon I had a plan that would keep things on track. Still I have knowledge so I was apprehensive it would come together. The car got picked up and we departed on the Saturday. Delivery was to be the following Wednesday. But I got called that the truck broke down in Vermont. I know these things happen but again anxiety crept in. The dispatcher did what I needed to happen. She kept me apprised of what was going on from that point. As long as there was communication and updates I was ok. The car showed up the next day in perfect condition. I never write reviews but I never thought this could come together either. So there you go they got my vote!
