Car arrived okay but more hiccups than anticipated

I'm shipped two cars with Ship a Car Direct. This review was for the other shipment which didn't go as smoothly. First there was a mix up on the pickup date. I will give them them the benefit of the doubt that I miscommunicated the date, but I did make it clear that I was flying out the day after the date they had recorded as the first available pickup date.

What I found particularly bothersome was the rebate process. In order to get the rebate, you have to receive the instructions by phone calls. For someone who travels a lot for work and is extremely busy, trying to find a time to receive the instructions is a big burden, especially when the rep doesn't respond to your e-mail and phone calls in a timely fashion. The rep attributes inconvenience to "playing vphone tag". But phone tag implies responding to calls within the same day you leave a message, not three days later and on a few minutes before the rep is about to leave for the weekend, which was the case. The rebate wasn't much (about $30) but if you are going to use this as a selling point, then please make the process. Otherwise, it comes off as a cheap marketing ploy, which was how I felt.

Thank you for your feedback, James. Sorry you didn't like the rebate process, but glad the car was delivered safely!
