The pickup and delivery was on time. Ship -a-car hires freelancers to do the actual trucking/ shipping. Ship -a-car was great about communicating and setting up the transaction. The free app and instructions on how to interact with the freelance driver was helpful. Once the car is in transit you are pretty much instructed by ship-a-car to speak with your driver directly. Thankfully our driver was good. Our driver called ahead of time so that we could be ready upon pickup and his arrival.
