We needed to ship my MIL's car from Rhode Island to South Carolina after her husband died and she needed to move in with us. It was a stressful time for her, but Ship A Car Direct - and Stefan as its representative - took one of the most stressful parts of the move and made it unbelievably easy. I received an online quote within a couple of hours of requesting one. It was inclusive of broker and driver fees with no hidden costs. No one called to try to sell me anything or pressure me into committing, which often happens when seeking quotes online. Stefan handled the entire process via email, though he was available by phone if I had wanted to chat. Best of all, this quote turned out to be exactly the price I paid. We have moved around the country quite a bit and have learned that most quotes involved in the moving process are simply guesstimates and you can expect to pay more. Not with Ship A Car Direct. The quote was $825 and that's what we paid. We had asked to have the car picked up June 10. On the evening of June 9, the driver called to see if he could possibly pick it up that evening rather than the next morning. That worked perfectly for us. Jose was polite and professional. Went through all paperwork, encouraged us to take pictures, and efficiently loaded the car. On the morning of July 11 he called to say he was three hours away. Three hours later he called to say he was a couple of miles away. Then called to say he was parked in an open area outside the entrance to our community. We met him there and 10 minutes later we were putting the car in our garage. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We would recommend this outfit any time.
