Dealing with Ship a Car was generally fast and efficient. I was concerned that they wouldn't find a carrier to pick up my car before I left CA, but the timing of the pickup and arrival was great. My only complaint is that they didn't tell me the carrier would not deliver the car to the house. We had to take a taxi and go to a truck/interstate stop and pick it up. I don't know if this is the fault of Ship a Car or if the carrier was at fault for not disclosing this to me, but I feel that I should have been informed since the general assumption is that it is a door-to-door service.

Thank you for your feedback, Judy! Sorry to hear the carrier couldn't deliver to your door. You are right, most transports are door-to-door but sometimes tight cul-de-sacs or steep hills can prevent a truck from loading safely at your address. Or sometimes if you have a special timing request that's negotiated later in the service, it may require more flexibility on your part. Sorry that the carrier didn't clarify that for you.
