Damage in Transport

I selected Ship-A-Car Direct Because of their reviews,customer service and their 100% Damage Free Guarantee to ship my 1950 Chevy Custom Truck. I'm glad I went with them. The truck was damaged in Route. We had followed the advice from SACD and took pics and noted conditions and things on Bill of Lading. The truck was delivered near dark and Cold Snowy conditions. The Driver said nothing about damage and the truck was dirty and frozen upon delivery. The damaged was seen after thawing in heated garage. I contacted David at SACD and followed his advice as to the appropriate steps. The carrier (Cars Inc Aurora) admitted fault but did not want to go through his insurance but wanted the Driver to pay. They did not agree to any of the estimates I got on the truck and were very uncooperative with the repair process. I finally took the advice from Ship A Car and my insurance company and submitted a claim to his insurance company. After the continued support from David at Ship A Car Direct, the carrier finally sent the $1000 deductible. The truck was delivered on 11/11/14 and I just received the check 1/19/15 from Cars Inc. I want to thank Progressive insurance for their support and especially David and Ship-A-Car Direct for their advice and support to follow through to the end and finalize this transport. I would highly recommend Ship-A-Car Direct to anyone considering to ship a vehicle. You will have their support from start to finish!! Thanks again David
