I randomly selected 4 or 5 transport companies from a Google search & requested a quote for shipping from zip 63026 to 14075. The low was $535 the high was $1475. Ship a Car Direct was $675 & they also offered a $30 on line rebate for completing a performance survey. So my total would be $645 after the rebate. Sounded like a fair deal. So I contacted David & started asking him questions about schedules, damages, "insurance", how they select transporters and if this price was firm? I was really concerned about the firm price because recently another company quoted me a price but after I purchased the vehicle, & contacted them for pickup, the price went up $75. They faulted the transporter? Maybe so.....but it seemed suspect! David assured me that prior to me paying a single dime, his firm would locate a transporter, which I could review their history & reject or approve, submit a firm schedule for P & D- barring any mechanical /highway issues & if I desired constant updates during shipping! The following is my discussion regarding the actual transporter:

Hi Dave,

The guys called about 8:30pm Friday evening and asked if I would accept delivery or they would reschedule for Saturday? I gave them directions to a empty plaza about two miles North of our home. These two guys were great and, while I was there, really were careful offloading the two units and reloading the next delivery. The lead man went over his pre-load checklist with me and together we verified that no new damage had taken place during shipping. Again, these guys were great, polite and complied with my requests and or answered my questions! Do me a favor and give the guys an "atta boy".........they deserve it! And also I want to give you a special "Thanks" for being such a straight shooter........truly a professional.
