Although the pick up date after my car was available was delayed by a few days, my car arrived in Michigan after only 4 days! Tom was honest, promptly answered my calls and questions. Before committing to ship a car direct, I made my research and looked them up at the BBB website and Yelp. I heard so many horror stories about car carriers that I didn't mind spending a bit more time doing my research. They didn't give me the cheapest quote ($1100 - $30 rebate for writing a review) but they had a pretty good BBB background and were also accredited.
The driver was a bit rude and had zero people's skills! I moved to a place nearby a railroad and the driver called me up to let me know that he couldn't get to my house. That was fine with me, however, he was so exasperated and rude that I didn't really feel like helping him out... but I still did it anyways, knowingly that he could have chosen a different route avoiding the railroad altogether. I did it just because I wanted my car and really didn't want to deal with that driver anymore. Had to drive my other car to the nearby parking lot where I met the driver to pick up my car and leave the other one there until I could come back later on with someone else to pick it up. Very inconvenient...
