Good overall experience

This was my first time using a shipping company to ship a car. I had read many reviews online regarding many companies. Some were terrible and some were glowing. I decided on this company based on some honest reviews on the internet. It was also the company that gave me the most reasonable quote.

Matt was great to work with. He answered my questions and calls in the evenings and even on the weekends. I was lucky in that my date of shipping was very flexible. My car arrived within the 7-10 period and the transport guy gave me a call 2 days before arrival and on the day of arrival. It all worked out very smoothly.

I had slight reservations when my carrier was assigned, since I had read some terrible reviews about them on the internet (CAA transport). In addition, I had a few alarm bells go off when Matt informed me that the carrier would be charging an extra $100 on top of my initial estimate because there weren't that many carriers going from CA to MA. Matt offered to split the cost of the extra $100 with me (50/50). With the extra cost, the amount that I paid is along the lines of what other companies were quoting me. It turns out that my carrier was great. The driver (Andy) was very friendly and kept in very close contact the day of delivery. I live in a very densely populated area in the city, so we met him in a large shopping mall plaza outside the city. There were other people who were meeting in the same location to pick up their vehicles, as well. Andy, the transport driver, told me that he does the drive from CA to MA twice a month, so I'm not 100% sure the lack of carriers was entirely true, but it doesn't bother me much since the price I paid was compatible to what I was quoted from several companies. It is no secret (there are other reviews that refer to this on this website and on yelp) that you are eligible to receive a rebate of $30 for writing a review.

I had a very good experience and I would definitely recommend this company to others who are looking to transport their vehicles.

Thank you for your feedback! Glad to hear it was good overall! Your pricing concern is a common one. We contract transport from a pool of excellent independent carriers, but different carriers work for different rates and availability varies. So even though CAA does serve your route, they don't have a truck in your neighborhood every day (or even every week). Just because we quote a fair price it doesn't mean every carrier works at that price. Your final price always depends on which carrier is available on the date you want pick-up.
