My father was kind enough to give me his slightly used prius and i set out to look for a transport company to ship the car from IL to CA. I chose Safe-Direct car shipping after some online research but the yelp reviews solidified my decision, plus my father in Illinois had been quoted $300 higher than what Dave quoted me. It was a bit of a leap of faith, but I did appreciate the follow-up call from Dave within 24 hours. I appreciated that EVERYTHING is posted on their site including contractual details and insurance. Paying the deposit, scheduling the pick up, getting the car dropped off was all very straightforward. It was my first time with a Prius and the driver even showed me how to start the car! :p I would definitely recommend this company!
