Very disappointed, very frustrated

Honesty first should rename the company. I called Tom on Sept 1 to ship two cars from Mass. To California. I was quoted $2200 for the two vehicles. I made it very clear to Tom that I must leave by Sept 11th and the cars need to be picked up on or before the 10th. On the 6th I emailed Tom and told him if this date is not going to happen, let me know so I can make other arrangements. He suggested adding another $100 to get them shipped, which I did.

I did not receive any other communications from Honesty First. The cars were not picked up and I was not notified they would not be. I was tremendously inconvenienced and disappointed. I am still trying to change plans that are costing time and aggravation. A simple phone call from them earlier would have helped out a lot. On Sept 12, I called Honesty First to complain. I got a call back from Tom. He told me he took some time off near the end of the previous week for a relative in the hospital. Where I agree that family comes first (which that is what this move is about) This booking should have been passed off to someone else to handle.

Communications were poor and a little honesty would have gone a long way.

We agree. Guilty as Charged. We dropped the ball and under quoted this move. It's good that he took the time to write in so that you don't get the wrong idea by our overwhelmingly positive reviews and think that we are 100% perfect. Every once in awhile we make mistakes too. Our apologies. As a rule, don't go with the lowest price, EVEN IF IT'S OURS. Hope this review helps.
