Disappointment

Mr. Kasper certainly seemed knowledgeable. As an Army veteran, I identified with his reported CSM status. As the day for the pickup neared, there was no confirmation from Secure Car Transport as to exactly who would do the pick up. He indicated the carriers are often unknown up until a day or two before the pickup.

The day before the pickup arrived and still no word, email, or phone call from him. I called him and he promised he would call me that evening. He did not call me. I wound up driving the car from Pennsylvania to Missouri.

When I was able to make contact with him again, he said he would refund my deposit, $175 within a few days. That's been quite awhile, and no check.

When he called the first time, he generally condemned transport brokers as a whole and said several times you couldn't trust most of them. It is ironic that he turned out to be one of them.

I feel Mr. Kasper is an embarassment to your profession, and certainly to the Army. You would expect CSMs to demonstrate a bit more dependability and character than he did.

I've written this only after STILL not hearing from him or receiving my refund. It appears his firm is located in California so I will be communicating with the State Attorney General. This is actually fraud for him to conduct business like this. Since his business reaches across state lines, I think the feds will be interested in his activities.

Unfortunately, not every customer can be transported as fast as possible for any number of reasons. Mr. Draper was not issued a refund by the company because he notified his credit card company on September 1, 2011 to reverse the charges. We usually refund Broker Fees by check; however, I will not send a check after a client reverses charges.
