I was moving to Redding, CA from Mclean, VA and needed my car transported- a 2000 Acura Integra. After doing the numbers and realizing I wasn't saving that much to do the cross country drive, I started the process to get bids on the move. I got over 50 bids- some ranging from less than $1200 to as high as $1500.

After looking at the reviews for each transporter, I only called back the ones that had 5-stars. Seamless auto was one of 3 that I called. Their initial quote was on the lower end but with 5-stars I decided I would go with them.

My rep was Jason and the quote was for the car to go into Redding, CA, 2 hours north of Sacramento. I was skeptical that for $1250 they could get it there because I had talked to 5 other transporters and they all said it would be higher. Getting the car to Redding vs Sacramento wasn't a big deal because I was flexible with that. Jason explained a lot about how the transport business works and why there's a wide range of quotes.

We didn't find any drivers that would go into Redding, only Sacramento. So we settled on dropoff there. Because of that, I got a small discount. Fair and honest. I actually got a call to ship my car early but I couldn't be at the dropoff location so I declined and waited for a second driver. The second driver wanted some more money because they were coming from a different state to pick up my car. I was ok with the price increase but I had turned down the previous driver. Getting my car shipped on time was my top priority. Jason also negotiated on my behalf to lower that additional amount.

My car arrived in Sacramento, CA in 5 days, much earlier than the 6-8 days that I thought. In the end, I paid $1350. Not a scratch on the car and my driver was very friendly. I had a very good experience with Seamless Auto and wanted to share it with this review.
