In early January when my son drove to Quebec City he encountered mechanical problems with my car. As he was due back at school we flew his and his mates back to Torontothe car was left in Quebec City for repair and once that was done I was left to ponder, ..... what to do short of flying to Quebec City and driving the darn thing home to Toronto.

Thanks to my good wife's insight, she began a web search and shortly thereafter a load broker responded with a number of potential transport vendors we might contact. Within the hour SVP Auto Shipping responded by e-mail and my dilemma was all but solved.

From the very outset dealing with SVP, in the person of Steve Burley, was an absolute delight. Steve arranged for the car to be picked up at Canadian Tire and tranferred to Allied Systmes holding yard andwithin 3 days the car was delivered in mint condition to the the Autoport at the Cn intermodal yard, and I should add, at a very reaonable price that was less than the opportunity cost (and minus all the hassle )of flying to QC, driving it back and taking time off work.

From start to finish, it was a distinct pleasure dealing with Steve and SVP, and we're most grateful for their personal service and very able assisitance. Thanks guys, you took the edge off a very compromising situation ..... and be rest assured, the next time our darling son insists on driving to QC in the dead of winter, he will be taking the train !!!
