Dishonest business practices - Misleading UShip dealings

I dealt with this company through Uship. I was in correspondence with a man named Alan, who misrepresented himself and the company as being a transport company. After booking them, I found out they were posting on national message boards looking for drivers. They were overcharging by $300-400, far more than the standard broker fees. SGT is a broker company that operates outside of the US. They do not own any trucks or have any drivers employed. They will mislead you to gain your business. They led me to believe that a driver was in route to pick up my vehicle, and they put my vehicle at risk because my vehicle is sitting in a parking lot unattended because they didn’t even have a driver on the way like they led me to believe. They claimed they don’t have an employee named Alan. I spoke with their phone support based outside of the US, which didn’t even know any of the details regarding my vehicle. I informed them that I canceled the order through Uship because of their dishonest practices, and then after that phone call they went back on the message boards offering more money to drivers despite me asking them to remove the request. As a clear last ditch effort to keep my money, they decided to offer drivers more money. All of this after acknowledging that I had filed a complaint and canceled through Uship, and them agreeing that they wouldn’t remove my listing from the message boards. They are aware that I have hired an honest broker, yet they continue to outbid my broker on the same vehicle which is now preventing me from getting any legitimate drivers to pick up my vehicle.

The order was audited by our quality assurance manager and a proper protocol was followed in both phone and chat conversations. Our usual pick-up window was discussed with you via phone. The order was cancelled before the end of the window as per your request. Our cancellation process usually takes between 24-48 hours.
