From an experienced customer...do NOT use SGT

I have shipped many cars over the years, and have many friends who have also shipped cars. I have never had such a poor experience with a carrier as I did with SGT. I sold a car to someone, and I recommended hiring SGT to pick it up. They were even paid $100 extra to "expedite" the shipment. It took literally 12 days for them to have the vehicle picked up. Even worse, they were never proactive about it, we had to constantly contact them to push this. They promised over and over they would "get back to me" and consistently failed to do so. On their 4th attempt to assign a driver, I made it 100% crystal clear...in writing...that I wasn't available until after 4pm that day. They called me at 10am and said they dispatched someone who would be there by noon. I asked them to refund our money, given the repeated failures of SGT. They refused to do so. I asked for a manager, and I was repeatedly refused that information. I finally got it after being persistent, and was connected to the GM, whose name is Jeff. He told me "I'm very busy and hard to get a hold of. E-mail me and I'll solve this". I e-mailed him and guess what...crickets. He has been unresponsive to my e-mail and my follow up. I ship cars fairly often and have plenty of contacts who also do. Given this experience, and even worse their complete refusal to make a mistake right, I will never use SGT again and be sure nobody else I know does either. Jeff and Stefano (the owner of the company), if you'd like me to reconsider, I highly suggest refunding the money paid for this shipment and contacting me.
