Carrier damaged front suspension of my 2010 Challenger by improperly securing it to the flat bed. Required small repair from local shop. Emailed Pete at Rite Way within 2 days of car delivery, promised to "have the dispatcher get in contact with me promptly." Never heard back from them so I disputed charges with my bank and recovered the cost of the repair bill. Prior to shipment, Pete quoted a price that was not my lowest option, but promised a prompt pick up and delivery. After waiting for 3 weeks, he said he could get the car moved faster for additional money. Stuck at the point, I agreed to the additional cost to the get the car moved. Extremely poor customer service and obviously Pete's word is no good. I move several cars per year and will never use Rite Way Auto Transport again.

Rite Way Auto Transport attempted to have my review removed, stating "they were unable to locate my order." Thankfully I have several documents to verify my order with them thus the review is back up.

We can understand someone being upset if their vehicle was damaged in transit. HOWEVER this persons vehicle WAS NOT damaged in transit. They bought this car USED and was already damaged before we had it loaded onto a truck...which was documented on the Bill of Lading in black and white. The repair was $49 and should have been billed to the seller of this vehicle. (this is why we do not recommend people to buy cars online SIGHT UNSEEN) As far as having an issue with damage to a vehicle during transit in most cases you would probably wind up getting stuck paying for the repair yourself. With RITE WAY that would never happen...we are literally one of the ONLY COMPANIES in existence who hold a 1 million dollar contingent liability policy as well as a 250,000 dollar contingent cargo policy...so that alone shows that this persons story does not hold water. Folks...if your vehicle is ALREADY damaged and it is NOTED on the Bill of Lading...DON'T TRY and make it look like the transport companies fault....ITS IN WRITING. Now this person also says we took 3 weeks to get his vehicle....Well before taking the reservation we told him to expect a LONG wait to get a rig out to the middle of nowhere Kansas...so he was well aware of this and i guess today....6 months later....he figured he would get on this site and try to bury us. Lastly...Pete happens to be HANDS DOWN one of the best in the industry and works strictly on referrals. He works 6 days per week as well as our customer service ladies who are more than happy to take your call at any time! So if anyone has an issue with Rite Way...simply pick up your phone and give us a call....we are the largest broker outfit in the united states. We have 61 employees and would NEVER not take a call....its nearly impossible. Thank you and good luck with your vehicle Jordan.
