First contacted RAT around Thanksgiving about pickup on a critical date, 12/27/11. It seemed like a good idea since the office is just down the street from where we live. We committed to that date well in advance of actual scheduled pick up. Deposit of $195 was given soon thereafter. We had to fly in from LA to clean up my parent's estate in PA. Only in town for 2 days. Repeatedly reassured there would be no problem or delay with the arrangement. We called many times to confirm. When the date arrived, the truck did not. Then the excuses started. I had my brother stay a few more days, then the tenants had to take over waiting as a favor to me.We gave them until 1/28/12 as the house was being sold. She told me to offer more money which i did, still no driver picked up the contract. Since the house was closing in 2 days i told her to cancel the deal and return the deposit. I arranged for my wife to fly out and drive the car back! To add insult to injury, they refuse to give back the deposit. They say they had 21 days to pickup from commitment date as spelled out in the contract. Which we never got. I checked all files on the server, no contract received. Worse than the money, we got screwed over in a big way at a very stressful time. Then we had to pay for the plane ticket and my wife had to drive across the country starting in a snowstorm. There will be excuses posted as a rebuttal to this review, i'm sure of that. Reasons why it went down the way it did, etc. Rest assured i am a reasonable and patient person to work with but it feel it is my duty to warn others away from this firm. You might get lucky, some have. My experience has proved otherwise

At the holiday time of year, truckers slow down & get off the road, thus making pick ups difficult. We did have a driver assigned, but the customer could not provide a back up person to release on their behalf. This became an early termination.
