I am so happy with the service that I received...that I felt compelled to write this glowing recommendation. I live in Massachusetts and was driving (alone) out to Minneapolis and planned to drive home with my son (and all of his belongings), who was finishing up school there. Unfortunately, I got sick along the way and ended up with a week-long hospital stay in Minnesota. We decided to fly home to Massachusetts and ship our car.
We had never shipped a car and were apprehensive at first. We got several quotes and were dismayed to find that most were not even able to pick up our car for a week or longer, not to mention very expensive. Somehow, we stumbled upon Reliable Car Transportation. Granted, it was great timing, but Vanessa said they had a truck that happened to be in Minneapolis right then and there and that it was heading for the northeast states. This seemed too good to be true, but sure enough, they put us in touch with the driver, who picked up the car with all of my son's belongings in it...that very afternoon (Thursday), right on campus. I was discharged from the hospital and we flew home the next morning (Friday). Oh, I forgot the best part... it was more than $100 cheaper than the services that wanted to make me wait a week to pick it up. To do that would have required me staying in Minnesota hotels for more than $100/night!
The truck driver had given us his cell # and, although we were hesitant to call it in case he was driving or sleeping, we got curious as to where he was and called him on Saturday. I left a message and he called me back within 15 minutes. The car arrived on Sunday, with just some dirt from the open road. No dents, nothing missing, no problem... GREAT SERVICE!
The best part was that Vanessa (at Reliable Car Transportation) and the truck driver himself had both given me their cell phone numbers...and they did respond to them when called. Again, I'd highly recommend this company to anyone.
