Started off getting refereed to to a subject named Ronnie by Ronald from Allegiance Moving and Storage. They were quoting me on moving personal belongings and this was a company that could move vehicles. I was given an original quote of 1350.00 for each of two vehicles.Once I agreed to this price and after signing the contract/quote with Ronnie via email, he then advised he had talked to his boss and the price would actually be 1550.00 per vehicle. This was still in the price range I was comfortable in and agreed again, signing contract/quote number two. I gave “Ronnie”, Experienced Auto Transportation, a 12 day window, several weeks in the future to get the vehicles moved.Move was from central California to Little Rock, Arkansas area. So anyone in Northern California going east could easily take the transport even though we aren’t in a large metro area, the two major interstates/Highways used in California to move north or south in the state are within a short distance from my location.I was advised by “Ronnie” that with that window getting someone for the move wouldn’t be hard.I was also advised that I would be given a 48 hr notice before the driver arrived to get the vehicles ready. The first day of the 12 day window, I received a call from a subject named “Andrew”, sounded a lot like “Ronnie”, who stated he had a driver willing to do the load, but it would be an extra 400.00 dollars and he would be at my residence in 2 hrs. I advised him that I was to get a 48 hr notice to start, I needed to get the vehicles ready and why an extra 400.00 dollars. “Andrew” stated no drivers would touch the load for the price I agreed upon at which time I advised him that was the price quoted by “Ronnie” and in the contract/quote I had signed. He advised that it would be over 30 days before he could possibly find a driver willing to do it for that price. So, why exactly was I talking to “Ronnie” or the business, it sounded like whatever price they give isn’t worth anything, the driver of the independent transport vehicles tell them the price when they contact them. The price the advise is a fraud as it’s a fictitional number that they have no way of meeting or guaranteeing. The original fee paid up front, usually 200.00 to 600.00 dollars is the money for this company and they advise they won’t give a refund no matter what the issue. So, even if you wanted to go somewhere else, you will be out that money from this transaction. With no other option, moving cross country and no time to get another company, you are forced to keep paying them.I agreed to the additional 400.00, but said it would be the next day before the vehicles were ready to move. “Andrew” said he would contact the driver and see about having them picked up the next day. The driver was to contact me and make arrangements. So two days later, I contact “Andrew” and ask where the driver is at, nobody has called me and now he’s a day late. I was given the phone number of the driver and upon contact, he advised he would be there that morning. Upon arrival, the truck didn’t have the original MC number from the receipt.I had looked up the original number, Regal, which appeared to have no issues. I didn’t take the time to look the DOT or MC number up at that time, we were just trying to get the vehicles loaded.Upon review after the truck left, I found the DOT had been revoked for refusal to cooperate in a audit. So the truck they had gotten me was driving illegally across the US with my vehicles on it.The truck was gone and there was nothing I could do about it at that point other than hope the vehicles made it. The original timeframe given by the driver wasn’t even close, originally advised 28-30 hrs.Actually it was over 48 hrs to get the vehicles there. The driver kept telling me it was traffic or accidents, but with the DOT revoked, I believe he was having to take side roads around every scale as he would be hammered if caught with those vehicles on his commercial rig. I was expecting the request for additional funds at the drop off, but I had advised the driver I was a 32 yr retired law enforcement and I believe he knew that wouldn’t end well. He took the money owed and left. I had agreed to pay by credit card when at my residence and picking up the vehicles, but 4i hrs later and 1.5 hrs from the destination he advised they couldn’t take credit cards anymore and needed cash, business check, or a zelle transfer. Luckily my friend had the cash as I have no access to zelle and don’t own a business. “Ronnie” and the several business names associated as he changes it when the bad complaints pile up, are basically ether worthless as whatever they tell you is fiction or they are running a fraud on customers getting more money from them.
