"Since a 4 star rating is a failing grade in Red Carpet’s culture, I hope to receive a 5 STAR review from you." - so says the email asking for my review
===
That kind of instruction makes the review process close to meaningless. I had no problems with Amber's service, and would have given her a five star review anyway. But now I know it's not as accurate as I would like it to be. What if things didn't go quite right? If I were to give her a three star review, what would happen to her? But if all interactions get five stars, why bother rating anything?

John, The reviews that we receive are far from meaningless. They are a barometer of how our reps are servicing our clients. A 4 star review is a failing grade in our eyes, because we strive to give 5 star service to each and everyone of our clients. Unfortunately, not all interactions with our clients get 5 stars and we learn just as much from our 3 star reviews as we do our 5 star reviews. The reviews we ask for, are for how we performed, not the driver. If a driver has a bad day, breaks down or damages a vehicle in transit, there's nothing we could have done to prevent that. Now, if Amber would have been rude or unprofessional while transporting your vehicle, then she would deserve a review that matched her performance. And by the way, nothing would happen to Amber if she did get a 3* review.....but if that's all she ever got from her customers, she wouldn't be working for Red Carpet Auto Transport for very long. : ) I appreciate you saying that Amber's service was very good and she earned her 5 star review, as I wouldn't have it any other way. Your review is very important to us, as we work very hard for them. If there is anything else we can do for you, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you! Tony Quinn
