I found the whole car transport industry difficult to understand and seemingly full of people who were telling me things that sounded too good to be true. Here's what I learned:

-Anybody can quote you ANY price. However, your vehicle can just sit there and not move indefinitely since it is ultimately up to a subcontracted driver to accept the fare that you/your broker have offered.
-Once I realized that the low ball prices I had been quoted would mean that my vehicle would not be picked up I decided to simply pick the broker who had been the most helpful and professional. That broker was Dennis Carter. His pricing was competitive but I realized that getting my car moved was going to be less about saving $50 and more about who could get the vehicle moved.
-Dennis did a terrific job of helping me sort out the details of all the things the 20 or so brokers had told me. He simplified the process, had my vehicle picked up a few days later and was SUPERB at communicating throughout the process.
