Was quoted $780 to ship car from Charlotte, NC to Phoenix, AZ. Car was picked up on first day available, however I was contacted by Red Carpet Auto Transport telling me that as opposed to agreed upon $780, I would now have to pay $850 to have car shipped. Given the fact that I was under a strict time constraint I did not have the desire to protest the increase. I simply wanted the job done in a timely manner.

The company contracted to pickup car was great customer service wise and took great care of my car, however due to them not being able to pick up car from agreed upon location I had to meet them several miles away. This was a HUGE inconvenience as I then had to walk 4 miles back to where I was staying. Given the fact I was charged an additional $70 and then had to walk 4 miles due to poor planning on Red Carpet's part, I would not use this company again. They should have verified that driver was able to reach my location (still can't comprehend why he was not able to). I was explicitly told that it would be picked up from where I was staying, not in a parking lot 4 miles away. Choose a different booking company. I would give driver a full five star review as he was thorough, professional, and a pleasure to deal with. Logisitical planning and price jump were severe turnoffs.

Dear Kyle, I was surprised to read this review from you as I called you and emailed you to confirm that all went well, and this is the first I've heard otherwise. As a transport broker, it is my duty to secure a reliable and reputable transport company for you that will pick up and deliver your car safely and timely manner. It sounds to me like I did my job. And although we strive to give you an accurate estimate to transport your car, there are factors such as supply and demand, rising fuel prices, weather, etc that can effect pricing. The .03 per mile increase requested by the carrier was simply to offset the varying increase in fuel costs across the U.S. during your 2100 mile transport. The driver was contracted to deliver your vehicle to your address. I am familiar with that area of Glendale, AZ off the 101 and 59th Ave. Any other delivery arrangements that were made, were an agreed upon arrangement between you and the driver, and were unbeknownst to me and not the fault of Red Carpet as I was not the one who arranged or agreed to deliver your car to a parking lot 4 miles away. But, I do apologize for any inconvenience may have caused you. Thank you for your feedback, it is important to me and helps me to continue in my efforts to provide 5 star service to all of our customers. Sincerely, Bernadette
