This was my first experience moving long-distance. I originally booked with a broker until I learned that could get messy real quick. After getting some more calls I got in touch with Prime Relocation Services who is an actual carrier and explained that the estimate was binding and my price wouldn’t go up if my inventory matched. We did a video call on FaceTime and my representative went through the entire house with me. I ended up canceling my deposit with the broker and decided to proceed with Prime. I was still nervous about my move (all the horror stories I have heard about moving experiences) but the movers were friendly and best of all spoke English. They wrapped all of my furniture so beautifully and nothing was scratched and the mattress was still in its plastic. They did charge a shuttle fee because the truck wouldn’t have access the in Chicago. Movers came a little late but thats Chicago traffic for you. Nothing broke. The cubic feet didn’t change. I highly recommend this company to everyone, its up to you to avoid moving nightmares. If it wasn’t for the video call, I probably would have paid twice as much. Thank you Prime Relocation Services!
