Prestige Auto Shippers LLC gave me a final order confirmation with a COD delivery price of $500 after I gave them a deposit of $195.00 on June 6, 2011 for the transportation of my son’s car to him in the military. Then when they called to confirm the pickup of the car they increased the COD cost to $800. This increase was never discussed or mentioned at any other time during the process of setting up the vehicle transportation. I called and canceled my order due to the fact that they misrepresented themselves and tried to change the contract already agreed to. I also tried to have my deposit returned to me but they refused to do so. There is nowhere on the order receipt or in any emails I received from them that states the deposit is no refundable.

This company has false contract deals and poor customer service. They should be closed down and never be allowed to steal money from anyone else.

Our contract strictly states that your "deposit is non refundable", please read the terms and conditions on our website. We located a carrier for you that would have had your vehicle picked up and delivered for the time frame that you originally scheduled. The price was $75.00 more than you were originally quoted and that is why we contacted you to see if you still wanted your vehicle shipped. I called and explained to you how everything worked, and at the end of the day if you decide that you do not want to ship your car any more and this is after we have already assigned you a carrier, your deposit is not refundable. We do however refund deposits for those that have not been provided a carrier. We do apologize for your bad experience and wish you the best.
