WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I was quoted $800 for a cross-country shipment of my vehicle and was told it would be picked up on a Monday in the afternoon and the driver would reach out to me an hour before pickup. I was asked to pay a $150 deposit, which was fine. Come that Monday afternoon, I haven't heard a word by 3:00 PM, so I call the corporate number and am forwarded to voicemail. I text the number as well as the corporate number and it takes well over an hour for someone to get back to me. Finally, someone calls me and tells me that my car won't be picked up until the following day and my cost is now $1300. When I ask why, I was told "You signed the contract stating that the cost and pickup dates are estimates and they are at the driver's discretion to be changed." OK. I was told I needed to pay another $150 deposit because of the cost increase. I asked the rep to give me something in writing guaranteeing my pickup date and that the cost wouldn't go up, which he did via email. Fast forward to the next day, AGAIN NO CONTACT from the driver OR corporate. I have to call in YET AGAIN just to be told the truck had mechanical issues and couldn't pick up my car until the next day. I further find out that I would have had to pay my driver the remaining $1000 in CASH, which makes no sense whatsoever. Because I had already wasted $200 on a rental car for the first day and now had to extend my rental car in my new state, I decided to go with a different company. I asked Premium to cancel my order and refund all of the money I had paid. I didn't get a response until the following day, saying that I don't need to cancel my order, my car would absolutely be picked up that same day. I told them I had already started working with another company and I needed to cancel and get a refund. The rep kept telling me that they wouldn't refund my money and that if I cancelled, I would have to pay a $200 cancellation fee. I refused, telling them that Premium did not hold up their end of the contract and if I didn't get a refund, I would contact my bank and report a fraudulent charge. He told me "do whatever you want, it doesn't matter to me". After continuing to argue with the guy, he refunded one of my $150 charges but told me the second one went to the driver and couldn't be refunded. After dealing with corporate, they used the second $150 charge as my "cancellation fee" which is whatever. I wasted SEVERAL HUNDRED dollars on rental cars because of the unprofessional and disrespectful business practices by this SCUMMY COMPANY.
