Terrible - Would never go near them again!

Booked transport with this company thru State-2-State to pick up a car that I purchased from a dealer in Ogden, Utah and deliver to me in the SF Bay Area. Pickup was ordered and scheduled for 10/29/2015 with delivery date of 10/30/2015. The dealership was informed of the pickup date and was preparing my car for pickup. The driver of the transport showed up unexpectedly and without any advance notice on the day BEFORE the pickup was scheduled. The car was not ready to go yet and so the driver got into a huff and just drove off, and refused to come back the next day as scheduled. Even worse, he LIED to the contact person at State-2-State, saying he had called the dealership the day before, talked to someone named "Ken" and that "Ken" had said OK to pick up the car early..... trouble is, there is nobody at the dealership named Ken at all, and the only person the driver talked to was my sales person (a woman) when he showed up totally out of the blue. As a result of this, I had to rebook with another carrier, at a cost of $100 more, and the car will be nearly a week later getting to me..... this is a very dishonest and disreputable way to business!!! I filed a complaint with DOT although I don't know what good that will do....
