Middle Man Not Needed

Once I signed the contract for service I did not hear from Michael proactively. I was told I would be notified of the pick up time for my car 24 to 48 hours in advance. I never got this information so it made it difficult to plan. I left voice mails and sent emails asking for confirmation of my pick up time a few days before my pick up window (Sunday, June 12 or Monday, June 13) and never got a response.

I called Monday morning to make sure my car was going to get picked up and was told my car would be picked up the next day, Tuesday, June 14 but they would see if he could get someone to pick it up today. This uncertainty was stressful because I was flying to TX on Tuesday. I soon then got a call from a hauler saying he could pick my car up NOW. I was not prepared at all.

It really was time consuming going between Passage Auto Transport and the hauler on day of pick up. I would not use a broker next time because I would have rather communicated with one company AND saved the $75 broker fee. (The quote never mentioned the $75 fee- making my total cost $700). I was expecting more for my $75 such as a phone call week of pick up, during pick up or even a follow up after pick up.

The hauler I was assigned was EZ Load Services (Roman @ 484-809-3620). I would call him directly next time to ship my car. He was great and kept me informed. I would recommend him and EZ Load Services. He even waited for me to deliver my car when Passage Auto failed to give me a pick up time. I was thankful for this.
