Orange provided me a very competitive quote, stuck with it and delivered as promised. No monkey business whatsoever! Unlike Orange, several other companies stated their original low quotes were just a starting place and by no means what it would actually cost to deliver it across country. Each one said to actually move the car, it would cost more and take longer than estimated/promised. I lost a week being jerked around one after the other. Orange charges a very low brokerage fee ($97 vs up to $200) and never tried to increase their bid "to get the car actually picked up." It did take longer than the 1-5 days pick up time stated, closer to 9 days but I think that was a result of the competitive nature of its bid and weather/location. Driver seemed conscientious and showed up 1 day earlier than expected and delivered 1 day earlier than promised within the 10 day window. In short, open truck transport will be rough on the car (it was filthy) but did arrive safe and sound. Use Orange if you are not in a rush and want a Company that says what it does and does what it says: straightforward and clear communication at every step. If you are in a huge rush, expect t to pay more, You can't have both. Choose your priority and then call Orange! Others are just a huge waste of time and energy!
