I put in a request to have a motorcycle shipped to my son, an active duty Service Member, on Friday March 8th. On Saturday I was texted by Elizabeth and told she had a driver that could pick up on Sunday and deliver Monday. Based on that she asked if she could go ahead and charge the $150.00 deposit. I jumped on it because I know what it's like being a kid that just finished basic and AIT (I'm an Army Vet) and having freedom for the first time in a year but no way to get around. So they sent me the contract. I admit I failed to read the contract in depth. I saw something about 48-72 hours and assumed it meant if they didn't pick up and deliver within 48-72 hours that I would get a refund. Apparently that is not the case. My E-3 private son is paying for all of this btw, and after a week of waiting on Elisabeth to find a truck and driver, On Road has NO TRUCKS, they just put out contracts and hope someone takes it, I gave up and decided to rent a truck and drive the bike across country myself. I requested a refund and was told that the contract I signed only allowed for a $50 refund if they failed to accomplish what they said they would do. And they failed. Supposedly they have issued the refund. I received an email saying they refunded the piddly $50.00 but it has yet to show up as a credit on my card. I would suggest not using them if you want something moved. They play the blame game, it's the drivers fault, it's the trucking co-Ordinator's fault, the motorcycle is an odd size (it was a Ninja 300, roughly the same size as a 600 and about as standard as it gets), seriously, use literally anyone else to move your equipment. It cost me/my son $100, probably $150 as I doubt they ever actually send the refund, to learn not to trust these people.
