I was quoted $425 on Friday, September 24th, to have my vehicle picked up the following Monday, September 27th. When I made the deposit, I was told that if I paid $450 then it would guarantee pick-up on Monday by a driver. The reps (Brian & Jerry) even reduced their broker fee down to $75.00 to give more to the driver. This started out as a good experience; however, on Monday I never heard from them, so I called and was told by Jerry that the system was down all day and that they would call me back. Well, I never received a call back, so on Tuesday I called and Jerry transferred me to Amber (dispatcher for the company). She was rude and kept telling me how busy they were and that their systems were down. I told her the vehicle should have been picked up on Monday and that here it was Tuesday and the vehicle was still sitting at the lot in Denver, CO. She told me she would look into it and call me back. When she called me back, she told me that she found a driver to pick up the vehicle on Wednesday, but it would cost me $75 more! I told her that Brian & Jerry guaranteed me pick-up on Monday for $450, which was $25 more than the original quote, but that it would ensure timely pick-up. Amber told me that there wasn't really anything more she could do for me. I told her that I wanted to cancel my order and she tried to explain to me that it would cost me more or the same to go elsewhere. I told her that it didn't matter at this point, they lost my business. I ship between 5 - 6 vehicles a month and one way auto transport will NEVER have my business in the future. Amber didn't even offer to use the broker fee to off-set the increased driver fee. Sure, it would have been a loss that one sale, but what the company would have picked-up for ongoing business would have off-set this in the long run. I hung up with Amber and then celled Jerry. He told me that once they finalize the sale, it is out of their hands and there wasn't anything he could do. He did apologize, which was more than I got from Amber, but he also told me that he was the Manager for his department and that Amber was the Manager for hers and there was nothing more they could do. I found another shipping company later that day and was able to get the vehicle picked up for the same price the following day. I would never recommend using One Way Auto Transport!
