nothing but empty promises

We needed our car moved from Minneapolis to Philadelphia and scheduled a pick up with NAAT on Aug 15th. The estimated pick-up date given was Aug 24th. The vehicle was not picked up on the said date due to “some problems with the trucking company”. Now it has been 25 days since we first placed the order and other than rescheduling the pickup 4 times, nothing has been done. Apparantly, the truck had some issues, broke down on the way, etc. It is hard to believe that a supposedly reputed and big moving company like North American Auto Transport could not get the “problem” with the trucking company resolved in 25 days.

Additionally there was refusal to commit to an exact date. Every time, we were given roundabout answers, with refusal to commit to a specific data and time of pickup. (for example: it will be picked up "end of the week". Thurs, Fri, Sat???time??) As consolation, we were placed on a cancellation list, but obviously this never happened in the last 25 days. Customer service representatives are often unavailable, and do not return calls promptly. It was I, the customer, who had to keep calling them to follow-up. My voicemails were never returned, which gives me a feeling that NAAT does not value its customers at all.

So far, NAAT has made nothing but empty promises and we are thoroughly dissatisfied with the highly unprofessional and inefficient way in which they have handled our case. We will update our review once the car gets delivered (if and when that happens!!!) After 4 postponements of pickup date, I am not sure I trust any words that come from the customer service representatives. We would really like to see some action being taken, rather than empty promises.
