First of all I have a son in the Navy...he left his car with a friend, the friend did not take very good care of the car and the car was unfortunately eventually towed. My son was deployed at the time and had no way of being contacted. After returning from deployment, and my son friend told him the situation. I suggested to my son that the car should be shipped from Atlanta Georgia to California where he is stationed. He agreed and ask for my help with this.

So I went on line to see what type of companies actually ship cars across country. There are a lot of websites but one caught my eye, only because I thought the web site looked professional, there also was a picture of the owner, Steve Wells, on the web site and history of the company etc. etc. So I decided to call New World Auto Transport, recieved Steve Wells voice mail, left a short message and within minutes I was called back by Steve Wells. My decision to go with New World Auto Transport company only; because of the way Steve sounded. And he said that he would give my son a discount because he was in the service.

Steve, assigned Jon to work with me on getting the car shipped. It became a learning experience for the both of us. It was to no fault of New World Transport but we had a lot of different problems that occurred. First the car would not start, this cause us to miss the first pickup date. Please be aware if the car does not start, there is no way that the driver can drive the car on to the trailer. So the driver left.

Jon, immediately scheduled another driver, we lost a few days and we were under a time restraint, my son was getting ready to be deployed again and we needed to get the car to him before he left. The second driver, Marlin, also had problems with picking the car up. Again time lost because it took most of the day for Marlin to locate the car; not his fault, the company that towed the car was at fault, for some reason they could not find the car another long story. Needless to say Jon and I talked every day until the car finally arrived in California.

Special note. Marlin the second driver was wonderful, he called me expressing how frustrated he was when he could not find the car. I asked him to please stay a little longer and he did. I immedialtey called Jon. Jon worked it out with Marlin the car was found and Jon offered to paid for a tow truck to help get the car onto Marlin's trailer. Jon was always available through this entirer process this means weekends too and late nights; but he was always professional and help me with all of the frustrations I was feeling. Also Steve Wells was also in the loop and offered me kind words when I was upset and worried about getting this car to my son. The car made it although it was one day late. But my son was still on land to recieve it.

Because of great customer service I highly recommend New World Auto Transport Company.
