I signed a contract on 12-6-09 for pickup of our 1953 Ford Customline. I was quoted $895.00 for an enclosed trailer from AZ to MI. The $125.00 deposit was paid on our behalf by the seller, Lucian Moga, in order to expedite the service. It was our money though. We were told to allow a 10 day day in order for them to find an enclosed trailer that was available. They specified a transport date of 12-16-09. They then kept giving us excuses and then on about 1-9-10 they twisted our arm to switch over to an open trailer. We signed a new contract for the open trailer on 1-7-10 for the price of $700.00 minus the carryover deposit of $125.00 because we needed to get this car out of the seller's garage. The transport date was set for 1-11-10. New Way brokered the job out to F&S Auto Carriers. F&S picked the car up on 1-11-10. It set in their locked lot on the hauler in AZ until it finally left on 1-21-10. F&S Auto Carriers driver Barry Ray (Ray Trucking) delivered the car to us on 1-27-10. The car is burgundy, but when it was delivered it was filthy. It had salt all over it and some oil too. The car literally looked light gray when it arrived on the trailer and you could not see through the window at all to drive it. It took my husband and I three hours washing it to get it clean. Thank God we have a heated garage. So, from the day that I signed the contract till the day it was delievered was 52 days. Or 42 days after their 10 day window period they requested. (We are not so mad at F&S Auto Carriers. I think they really tried to do their best. It the car would have been clean on delivery, I would have been okay with F&S.) But, NewWay priced us low so we'd bite, and then they couldn't deliver. They broker their first contract. They then forced us to switch to an open trailer, and tried then to get more money out of us until I put my foot down and talked to a lawyer. They then said $700 for an open and they would float our $125 deposit over to this new contract. I think they'd thought they'd keep the first deposit on a contract that they could not keep with us, and they broke it. Thank God they knew I was seriously upset. We paid $700.00 total but it was 52 days of stress we did not need. We originally contracted for the enclosed trailer because we did not want the car coming through salt on it's way here. It had to come open, and then arrived absolutely white with salt... The whole 52 days sucked. December 6th first contract signed to delivery on January 27th- not something New Way should be proud of. I guess if I want to be fair it's still 26 days from their 1st contract till they got a trucking company to pick it up. From then on it was 16 more days. All my emails have been saved, and I recorded every phone conversation with both New Way Moving services and F&S Auto carriers. I will be filing a case with the Better Business Bureau very soon, complete with ALL the emails and ALL the recorded phone conversations.

Deb We are very very suprise from this review. We as a broker did EVERYTHING as agreed by contract, we even went an extra mile ahead and put our profit so your vehicle will be picked up. If the carrier hold your vehicle its not under our control and if the vehicle came dirty its part of the nature of the business. I wish i could post here all the emails you sent me before. You were very nice on your emails but once you got your car you changed. Its very sad that customer dont appreciate honest company that care about her customers. No other company would work for free and would give her profit to make the customer happy. I guess you are one of those that nothing can make her happy.
