I had a 26 ft camper trailer transported from Florida to Texas. After speaking with several transport companies I settled on Nationwide Transport Services, LLC. They certainly were not the cheapest but of course I was assured they were the best. Talking a good game of being fully insured if anything happened it would be covered. Being the first time I have used a transport company I was a bit uneducated. The driver lost a marker light cover and a whole fender. I didn't make big deal for the light cover but the fender was a bit much to ignore. Since I was assured the driver would record any concerns pre trip and again on delivery I thought that would be enough. It was not even though the driver admitted it was there at pick up and gone on delivery they refused to do anything to rectify it. Stating all of the excuses, like no insurance company will pay, there is no evidence it was the drivers fault, and my favorite, it wasn't on the BOL. Which we didn't get and wasn't aware we needed to get from the driver. The cost was $1800 with $600 to the broker. That fee was about $400 more than other brokers had quoted me. I gave 3 stars because they did pick it up on time. The delivery was a day earlier than quoted. Which meant being at the drop off location to meet them was a pain but not a big deal. The driver spoke no english and that made it difficult to communicate. It could have been worse I guess but won't use them in the future. What I found strange was every transporter that contacted me asked who the other companies were. When I told them they all Said, OH that's just broker. When everyone of them were brokers.
