Never picked up my car! Or the phone...

I chose National because Manny was one of the first people to call after I requested quotes online. He explained the benefits of his company, and how great their record is, and their price was in the middle of the quotes I got.
They called on the morning of the intended pickup (National called, not the driver), stating they would be picking up sometime after noon. A truck never showed up, and no one called. I attempted to call their office (on a Saturday) multiple times, at every extension, and repeated on Sunday, but never spoke with anyone. Monday afternoon (CA time) I finally received a call back.
My credit card, however, had already been charged $192, for no service.
In the mean time I called Mercury, and spoke with Eric on Sunday afternoon, who answered from his home, and logged onto his "system" to give me a quote over the phone. The truck that I reserved with him arrived a day early, and I had the driver's number and email address 2 days before the actual pickup. My credit card was only charged the day the car was put on the truck. The overall cost was 30$ higher, but Mercury's cut was way less (than the $192 that National charged), meaning more money went to the truck driver, where it should go.
Stay away from National Auto Shipping. The fact that they charge your credit card right away, before a truck ever picks up your car, makes them essentially scam artists.

Our driver was running behind Due TO WEATHER PROBLEM IN THE NORTH EAST. OUR TEAM DID CALL HIS FATHER Otto Lies 564 Salisbury St Holden MA 01520 (508) 829-6414 to inform about delay and he understood whats going on due to weather. Now dereck, when you set up order you are aware about the deposits required and all the process the way it works. so please dont LIE or make it too seem worse than what you have made it to be. If we can predict the weather in the North east, We would have told you that ahead of time to avoid any hassle or any agrivated customer. We are one of the largest company in the USA that transport cars, we try to make all clients happy and satisfied, but this is one of those cases that regardless of how good you do it they will find something negative. so if you have any questions derek call us 877-393-3232
