Unethical Behavior-Possible Attempted Theft

The driver assigned to pick up our vehicle arrived after dark - later than expected. He asked to have the keys left on the tire rather than have someone meet him. (The car was being shipped for us by our real estate agent.) The car does not have current registration tags, so by law the shipper is required to have in-transit tags. He did not have these tags and proceeded to attempt to drive our car illegally. Security stopped him. Instead of acting professionally and admitting his mistake, the driver became angry, produced no documentation, and proceeded to try and ram the gate with our car. When the Chief of Security arrived, the driver was so verbally abusive and belligerent that they had to call the police department.

The police told us that the driver's actions were indicative of possible theft and suggested we press charges. We would have been willing to let the matter drop if National Auto Shipping had agreed to refund our deposit. We emailed them immediately, received no response, and have called them twice today. Like their driver last night, both the dispatcher and the owner of the company, Jose Charleston, have responded with anger and verbal abuse. They have basically dared us to file a report, and we will now do so.

Needless to say we refused to allow National Auto Shipping to have anything more to do with our vehicle. We will not do business with any company that considers itself above the law.

Nancy Binzen or Bill Binzen. 356 Maya Palm Drive S / Boca Raton FL 33432 (415) 488-9512 nancy@wisdomtracks.com. In reference to the review posted by nancy and bill binzen review is totally false information. customer did reservation on 7-1-2011 and we cordinated one of our drivers for 7-4-2011. Driver was assigned to load up the car from customers door step ( but since they live in a gated community and they didnt inform us that driver cannot drive his 18 wheeler inside ). Driver Left his TRUCK unattended to accomodate client and get car loaded. Driver went out of his area. ( CUSTOMER NEVER INFORMED US THAT THE CAR DOESNT EVEN HAVE PLATES TO DRIVE IT OUTSIDE COMMUNITY OR REGISTERED ) he got there inspected the car ( BUICK ROADMASTER 1992 ) and was driving to the gate. at the same time he was stopped by a rookie security. Driver had all contracts in his hand to show proof that we are contracted to do the job. At the end, customer decided to not to release car to the driver. made us go out there for nothing. and in reference to the police we showed the police CONTRACT Sign from the client and there is nothing wrong with our driver or company. It is common sence that if a driver cannot get in inside a complex, customer has to meet him outside. if this client would have go by our terms and conidition this wouldnt become a problem as they put it. So to all customers that read this review we are one of the largest companies in the USA. we try to make happy all of them but their is allways one - like in this case that doesnt matter how good you do it - they will have something bad or negative to say.
